It became a turning point for me as a budding guitarist. But after a few days of research I concluded that there was a much larger story that demanded my attention. The album is historic for numerous reasons, nevertheless it has not found its rightful place in the annals of music history yet.

Whether or not you rank them high on your list as musicians, Kiss and Gene Simmons are legendary beyond the rock arena as marketers and promoters. To take an ordinary band at best and develop it into the Kiss Empire was no small feat. The costumes, make-up and stage show found a starving market.
